Raheemat A. Aderibigbe, Esq.

a U.S immigration attorney and a New York divorce attorney.

Meet The Attorney

My name is
Raheemat Aderibigbe.

I was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. I am an immigrant and very proud to practice in the area of immigration law because I went through the process of adjustment of status myself.

Background

I graduated from CUNY- John Jay College with a Bachelors in Political Science and received my Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in New York.

As an immigrant from Nigeria, I understand that the immigration system can be very complex. My goal is to help people navigate through this complex U.S. Immigration laws and help them get the life-saving immigration benefits they deserve.

I began working in the immigration field long before graduating from law school, in the capacity of a paralegal. I worked for several years as an immigration paralegal with a New-York based law firm doing extensive family and employment-based cases.

While in law school, I also took part in an immigration clinic (a free legal representation organization), St John’s Bread and Life that collaborated with Catholic Migration Services to help low income families complete their immigration filings.

Since graduating from law school, I have continued working as an Immigration Attorney representing immigrants from all over the U.S. I am licensed in both New York and New Jersey.

When not working, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.
